Prague Castle Gardens
Vrtbovská Garden – the 3,000m2 Italian style garden is situated on the slopes of Petřín Hill and is one of Prague’s finest Baroque palatial gardens. The garden displays works by Matyáš Braun, Václav Reiner, and Tommaso Soldati. The Royal Garden and the South Gardens are closed in wintertime, admission is free during summer season. The Garden on the Bastion and Garden on the Riding-school Terrace are open year-round.
Ledeburská and Small and Large Pálffy Gardens –the three interconnected gardens are located under the Prague Castle, in the Lesser Town district. A system of steep stairways give access to the terraces richly decorated with sculptures and commanding views of the Lesser Town and a panorama of Prague.
